One Year Old Survives Lagoon Rides

This was Preston's 1st year on the rides.  He loved the train ride, but...
he wasn't sure about this ride.  I had to beg Cassidy to go
with him on this 'baby' ride.  As it went faster and faster,
Preston didn't like it, I'm glad she was there to comfort him.
When the ride ended, he said 'fun' and 'again' so, I'm
not sure whether he liked it or not.

Fun, Fireworks, Fruit Pizza, and Family = Fourth of July

What a beautiful grand finale!

Kids had to climb the rock wall after the parade...
Cassidy always zips right up to the top...
Carson's getting there...

going down

and down

Here's my brother, Chase,  w/fiancee Mallory and
of course my 3 kids malling them.
They are getting married in a couple weeks.
Mallory is part of a wonderful singing group called 'Simple Grace'
They are performing at Cherry Hill this Saturday, so go
check them out or visit them on facebook.

The secret to a parade when your child's goal is to collect
as much candy as possible:  bring a grocery bag for each child!
Preston enjoying some 'Nandy,'  he didn't need a bag...
he just ate it as it came.
"Nandy flying from everywhere, can't this happen everyday?"
They even handed out popsicles.
candy wasn't enough... Preston had to devour Aunt Launa's
chocolate covered banana!

Feed The Birds

Well, for the 3rd year in a row, a mama bird has made her nest
above our speaker underneath the covered patio.
The baby birds hatched the other day.
Today we watched the mama bird find food for her babies.
I thought this was a dragonfly, but after cropping...
I think it's a grasshopper!
I thought birds only ate worms.
The babies are getting bigger and the nest is getting crowded.
I see four beaks... I think the one on the right is no long with us (dead),
the next one fell out of the nest.
We kept scaring the mama bird away.
She'd wait until she couldn't see us then fly up to the nest with food.
Whenever my camera would click she'd fly away.
Here she is about to feed the babies.
wondering what I'm doing
trying to get back into the nest (poor baby bird)
the kids put a bowl filled w/grass under the nest in case she fell completely down.
