Building a Motorcycle

Carson and I had to find something fun to do today since Cassidy was at school. So, out came the K'nex and we built this motorcycle together. It wasn't only fun to build but also fun to play with. It was so cool, it had a kick stand, and handles that could move, and you could push it! We even made a gas pump for it.

Cassidy Starts School

Today Cassidy started school! She was a little nervous,
but we made sure she had lunch money and knew her bus
number and had a sticker. (Last year they wouldn't let
her on the bus, thankfully a neightbor brought her home)

She is in the Spanish Immersion program again this year. Her Spanish teacher is Mrs. Lindeman. No english is allowed during the Spanish portion of the day. Cass said she didn't understand anything her teacher was saying. I think she'll catch on quick. Her English teacher is Mrs. Lovell. It was a short day, so she didn't go to Lovell's class today. We sure missed Cassidy at home. No one to make Preston laugh or play with Carson.

Where to buy invitations

Need invitations?
My advice, go to crossmyheart.com Click on "online retailers"
Don't use paperstyle.com
That is just what I did, so learn from my mistake.
They charged $1 per invitation
or $6 per invitation to print your info.
Polka Dot Design would've only charged
$1.55 per invitation to print!
SO, me thinking,"I can print myself"
just spent the last 2 hours
printing party invitations.
Also, the new Windows Vista Microsoft word is very different from
the original. So, don't use unless you have a couple hours of free time to find what you're looking for!
O well, at least it's done now and I think they
turned out pretty good.
(I would post a picture but this new printers software
apparently hasn't been installed thus, the scanner
won't work and I don't have another two hours
to get it working)

Shopping Spree is a Success

Cassidy and cousins, Grace and Kara, went to Park City with
their moms to shop for new school cloths.
You should've seen the dressing room when the three
of them were finished it looked like a tornado hit.

They found these cute matching dresses and Aunt Launa couldn't resist buying these matching headbands.

Boy Found Buried at Bear Lake

We had a great time in Bear Lake, just wish we
could have stayed longer. Carson loved the beach,
he could run around where ever he wanted.
He did hold still for a few minutes so Dad could bury him.

Cheese. Preston also loved the beach and eating the sand!
I'm so glad he's walking otherwise, he'd be even more messy.

Here's Cassidy and cousin Lily fishing on the dock.

Don't know why these came through so small.

Baby Sleeps 12 Hours Straight and Children Help Clean the Bathrooms

It's true, Preston slept from 7pm to 7am without waking up! and
I feel like I actually slept.
Cass and Carson helped me clean the bathrooms.
Actually, I nervously watched as comet was dumped out in the toilet
and bathtub and Carson jumped inside to scrub it. Who
needed those shorts and shirts anyway because they're now bleached everywhere.
And whole can of windex was sprayed on the mirrors.
Seriously, it was a great learning experience and
anytime the kids will help clean without complaining I'm happy.
So happy, that I took them to Lagoon for a few hours.

Preston giving mom a kiss because he slept sooo good.
Riding the cars
Helicopter ride
Waiting to ride "puff" (mini roller coaster).
I think they look a little nervous

Trying to smile for the picture because mom just won't give up

Marshmellow Monsters Are Caught!

Carson has a nose for food, he can find it anywhere.
Especially if it contains sugar.
I didn't even know we had large marshmellows
Monster face!
I forgot to put the marshmellows away after taking Carsons
pict and guess who else found them?
He loved them! and didn't mind being sticky
"Mom why are you standing on the counter top"

fun ending

Cassidy had so much fun in Connecticut. She showed all her friends Dude (her pet crab)! They were amazed it came from the ocean.
